HOW TO GROW?

Prepare the soil:

Choose a shaded or partially shaded area with well-drained soil. Make sure the soil is rich in organic matter. Prepare the planting area by loosening the soil to a depth of several inches and removing debris.

Planting Time:

 Bleeding Heart seeds can be sown in the spring or fall. If sowing seeds outdoors, choose a time when the weather is cooler, preferably early spring or late fall.

Sow seeds:

 Bury seeds shallowly in prepared soil, about 1/8 to 1/4 inch deep.
Divide the seeds to allow for growth, as bleeding heart plants usually need some space.

Watering and Care:

Keep the soil always moist, but avoid overwatering or letting the soil become soggy.
Consider covering the planting area with a thin layer of mulch to retain moisture.

Germination and Growth:

Bleeding Heart seeds can take several weeks to germinate, so patience is crucial.
Once the seedlings emerge, make sure they receive adequate but not excessive sunlight. Partial shade is preferred.

Transplanting and thinning:

Once the seedlings have developed a few true leaves, they can be carefully transplanted to their final growing position. Thin out overcrowded seedlings to leave room for mature plants to grow.

Maintenance:

Continue to water your plants regularly, especially during periods of drought.
Apply a balanced fertilizer during the growing season to support healthy growth.
Remove weeds and debris from around the Bleeding Heart plant.
